Get to Know the Vermont Band: The Tricksters
Some of Vermont’s most talented musicians joined forces to form The Tricksters, a Vermont based pop-rock band specializing in private events and weddings in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, and throughout New England. Their repertoire spans Top 40 radio hits from the late ’80s, ’90s, and popular songs from today. The Tricksters are not your average cover band…their heart and soul sets them apart.
The Tricksters shows are fun and original—filled with love, tight vocal harmonies, and contagious energy. You won’t be able to sit still once they take the stage and start rocking. Throughout the course of the band’s union, they have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. They perform at a variety of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while recording new music.
The heart of The Tricksters—with the beat that keeps you moving—is Jeff Meyer-Lorentson (Sneezeguard, Shy Husky, Stowe Theater Guild, Spotted Pup Productions, Lyric Theater) on drums and Seth Barbiero (Gregory Douglass, Justin Levinson, The Valcours, Frydaddy, Givin) on bass guitar. The soul of the band has three voices; Lane Gibson, Jr. (Givin), Spencer Bladyka, (The Guys, Shy Husky) and Lisa Piccirillo (Hotels & Highways, Gregory Douglass) have each fronted their own bands over the years. Together, Lane, Spencer, and Lisa are incredibly dynamic sharing lead vocal duties and weaving in ample harmonies.
Belting out their favorites from Tom Petty to Third Eye Blind, and Cyndi Lauper to No Doubt, The Tricksters aim to sing something for everyone and rock the dance floor—whether at a Vermont wedding, a club venue in New Hampshire, or your party anywhere in New England.
Don’t be fooled by their name, The Tricksters are serious about rocking!
